Who we are
SwaraBols is a music school run by [Prasannah Jeyandran], offering live online classes and recorded courses. In this policy, “we” means SwaraBols.
What we collect
- When you send a form: your name, email, WhatsApp number (if given), country, time zone, who is learning, the learner’s age, the subject and class format you’re interested in, and your message.
- When you enrol: the details we need to arrange classes and keep in touch, and a record of payments.
- When you pay: payments are handled by PayPal. We receive your name, email and the transaction details, never your card or bank details.
- In class: classes take place on Zoom. [State whether classes are recorded, who receives the recording, and how long it is kept.]
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a free trial or classes
- To run classes, share practice material and keep you updated about your lessons
- To take payments and keep the records we are required to keep
- To improve our teaching and this website
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Children
Most of our learners are children. We ask a parent or guardian to fill in our forms and to agree to this policy on the child’s behalf. We only collect what we need to teach the child, and we contact the parent or guardian, not the child, about arrangements and payments.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted services to run the school. Each receives only what it needs:
- Our web host, which stores this website and the form submissions
- Google (Gmail), for email
- Zoom, for live classes
- PayPal, for payments
- WhatsApp, if you choose to contact us that way
Some of these services store data outside your country. We choose services that protect personal information to recognised standards.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don’t lead to enrolment: deleted automatically after 24 months
- Student records: for as long as you study with us, then [2 years]
- Payment records: for as long as the law requires

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. WordPress sets essential cookies only for people who log in to manage the site. [Update this section if analytics are added.]
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can withdraw your consent to being contacted. Email swarabols@gmail.com and we will respond within [30 days].
Keeping it safe
This website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Form submissions are stored in a private area that only our administrators can see, and access to the site is protected and monitored.

If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
